Uses For Lighter Fluid
I do not promote any brand of lighter fluid. Any brand will work equally well for the following uses. Use your own judgement. Lighter fluid is highly flammable and irritating to skin, so please use precautions when using it. Always wash hands well after use.

Clean grease from bolts, nuts, etc.

Remove labels from glass jars. Will work on almost any surface to get tape or glue residue off.

Rub onto ink stained synthetic cloth to remove stain. Wash well afterwards.

Use to wipe a smear of paint from a window.

Use to take stickers off of book covers.

Use it to remove gum from most surfaces. This includes hair. Comb or wipe the gum away after a few moments of it being on the gum. The solvent breaks the gum down.

Use it to remove black scuff marks created by shoes.

It removes crayon marks from most surfaces.

Grease and oil stains are easily removed with it.

Remove rust marks from stainless steel. Just pour a little lighter fluid onto a clean rag and rub the rust spot away. Use another rag to wipe away any excess fluid.
