We want to remind everyone about the dangers of electrical surges related to lightning strikes. Most everyone unplugs the electrical cords to their computer equipment, even if they have surge protection, but few realize most damage to computers is due to electrical surges entering through the telephone line. Be aware and remember to unplug the phone line for your modem from the wall.
