Money Transfer Services
Send or receive money from any Western Union location in more than 190 countries worldwide, including Mexico. This is a fast and easy to send cash quickly to friends or family as generally cash is available for pickup right away. Anyone who needs to send or receive money quickly from people who are supporting friends or relatives living in a foreign country, pleasure travelers, anyone who needs to pay a bill immediately, or business people who need to make fast international remittances. You cannot use the Western Union Money Transfer Internet service to directly or indirectly fund illegal Internet gambling or for any other illegal activity, including, but not limited to, money laundering, support for terrorist activities, fraudulent sales, solicitations or theft.

The sender initiates the transaction by completing a "To Send Money" form and paying the Agent cash to cover the transfer amount plus applicable fees. The Agent immediately processes the transaction. To pick up the money, the receiver completes a "To Receive Money" form at any Western Union Agent location and provides proper identification or answers a test question. The agent then pays the transfer amount to the receiver. Both senders and receivers may need to show a currently valid government-issued photo ID and provide additional information to meet U.S. government requirements, depending on the amount being sent or received. Sending money with the Western Union Money Transfer service from an Agent location does not require credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts, memberships or citizenship papers. Using an Agent location, you can send as much money as you'd like, although certain security compliance requirements must be met for amounts exceeding $3,000.00.

Payment Services
If you need to pay a bill right away, our Western Union Quick Collect is for you. You will need the biller's CODE CITY, CODE STATE, and your billing account number in order to process the transaction. If your biller accepts payments through the Quick Collect service, they can provide you with the correct CODE CITY and STATE. To verify that your payment is posted to the proper account, please contact the biller directly for final confirmation of payment receipt. You will receive a Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) on your receipt as confirmation that the payment was sent to your biller. With the MTCN you can contact your biller and confirm receipt of the payment. Prices and service availability may vary depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to your geographic location. In addition, Quick Collect fees are subject to change without notice.

Prepaid Services
If you have a prepaid account that you need to replenish, such as a prepay credit card or cell phone, you should explore this convenient service. Yiou should contact your provider for all the information you will need to use this service. When using this service be sure you are using the correct account number. Account numbers are often 10 digit phone numbers, but your provider may have assigned you a unique account number. Account numbers can be alpha numeric and up to 23 digits long. If the system does not recognize your account number it is possible that your service provider has not yet notified Western Union that your account is activated. Please contact your service provider and request that they activate your account for payments. In general, your payment will be sent to your provider within minutes. However, with some companies it may take longer. If more than 24 hours have passed, and you still have not received credit please call your provider with your MTCN and they will research your payment. You should have a Western Union receipt with the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) in the upper right-hand corner.
