Heart of
America Motorcycle
Enthusiasts
Have a real love for motorcycles, Enjoy sharing it
with others?
- Maybe you were looking for a good breakfast ride on a Sunday morning.
You'll find us in the back room at the Sunshine cafe on hwy 10 in Desoto,
KS, every Sunday.
- Maybe you wanted to know about a competition or street riding school,
complete with track time at Heartland Park. We've got that information.
- Maybe you were looking for a little technical assistance with your bike,
or a reference for a good specialist. Many of our members are good with a
wrench, and free with their knowledge.
- Maybe your bike was looking pristine, and you just wanted someone to see
it who cared. From monthly meetings to the annual Clinton Lake rally, we
offer an appreciative and like-minded audience.
- Maybe you wanted to get off-road. Believe it or not, there still
are good places, and we can get you there in good company.
- Heart of America Motorcycle Enthusiasts is an AMA affiliated organization,
with strong representation in AHRMA and CRA. Maybe it's just the bunch of
men and women you've been looking for.
It Takes All Kinds

From collectors to pro racers, tourers to trials riders, we're all in this
thing together. And no matter how exotic our specific interests might
get, it seems that motorcycle enthusiasts can always find quite a bit in
common.
As a club, we demand little from our members. Dues are low ($15.00/
year). The pressure is even lower. You can attend meetings if you wish,
on the second Tuesday of every month, at McBrides. The meetings
are a combination of business and social, with a pretty good display
of interesting iron in the parking lot when weather permits.
Opportunities for greater involvement abound. There's always a ride
or race or a rally coming up. Everything gets organized, somehow, by
small committees of people who don't even like the idea of committees.
And even if you don't attend meetings, you'll be kept up to date through
a monthly newsletter.
Whether you're looking for a Sunday morning ride or a way to hone your
competitive skills, join the club. If you like bikes, you won't be bored.
