I had very low expectations when I first went to see this, I have since taken several others to see this rare site. The tree stands 112 foot high and is 27 foot in circumference.

To get there, just north of lawrence I caught hwy 24 going west, just before getting to Lake Perry take 59 north, 59 takes you to Oskaloosa. Then go west on hwy 92 to Ozawkie. Entrance is one mile west of Ozawkie. Highway 92 is a very nice ride. From KC this is about a 45 mile trip.
